17th State Level Raja Mahotsava

This festival is celebrated by the organisation on the Pahili Raja day, being the second day of the 5-day long festival - Raja. It is scheduled to start at 4.00PM at RabindraMandap, Bhubaneswar. The outside premises and the inside stage would be given a village touch and had swings, counters for Paan and traditional Odia cuisine (Pitha), the title part of the festival and the entire peripheral area would be illuminated.

DasarathiNaik Memorial Award for Excellence in Education

DasarathiNaik Memorial Award for Excellence in Education along with a cash award of Rs.25,000/- would be felicitated to a girl child of Adruta Children's Home, Bhubaneswarbeing the best scholar in the institute and her deep research in Odissi dance as a Odissi dancer.A Retired teacher would be felicitated with DasarathiNaik Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching along with cash award.

Masal RuchishreeSamman – 2016

This is an inaugural award starting this year to commemorate the 25th year of Masal in joint collaboration with "RuchiFoodline".

The idea behind the concept is to bring forth a plethora of talented Odialadiesof age group from 16 to 36, who possess unique talent and skill in any field along with a traditional values to compete nationally as well as internationally.

We went for an extensive search programme through Raja Sajabaja (Audition) in 5 zones of the State, Rourkela on 22.05.2016, Berhampur on 28.05.2016, Balasore on 29.05.2016, Cuttack on 04.06.2016 and Bhubaneswar on 05.06.2016. The Sajabaja was an exuberant success storyin all the 5 locations and 20 semifinalists have been shortlisted after stringent and transparentselection procedure. These shortlisted ladies will be groomed thoroughly by experts from various fields. Moreover, they will have to participate in a choreography round from 12 – 14 June with a view to have aflawless and entertaining performance at RabindraMandap outdoor stage on 14.06.2016.Further selections will lead to The Final event judged byEminent personalities at the indoor stage of RabindraMandap.

Our endeavour is to create a platform tohelp peoplewho deserve such kind of glory.

  • Distribution of prizes to the winner of the competitions held in the afternoon.

  • The programme would be anchored by Mr. Aswini& Mr. Rabi
  • Raja Ballet by the artistes of "Maanini", Cuttack.
  • Performance by the artistes of "Show Maker Group", Rourkela (Winner of UggramUjjwalam Season – II of MMTV & semifinalist of India's Got Talent)
  • Final round & Felicitation of "MasalRuchishreeSamman", to the winner of SresthaOdiani
  • Sambalpuri Dance& melody by the artistes of "Mayuree", Sundargarh.
  • Performance by the artistes of "SubhashreeSankhadhwani", Narendrapur, Ganjam
